Hamburger and Rice

Equipment

  • 1 Large Pan with Lid
  • 1 Measuring Cup

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Rice-a-Roni Beef
  • 1 lb Hamburger (Ground Beef)
  • 1 can Corn
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pack Brown Gravy Mix

Instructions

  • Breakup the hamburger and brown it in the pan. Do not remove grease.
  • Once it is browned to your liking, Add the beef rice in the center of the pan and let it brown per instructions on the box.
  • Mix the seasoning packet in 1 cup of water and slowly pour it into the pan and stir everything together.
  • Mix the brown gravy in 1 cup of water and add it to the pan. Drain the water from 1 can of corn and add it to the pan. Stir all together.
  • Place lid on pan and turn the stove down to medium/low and set time for 20 minutes. Stir it occasionally as it cooks.
  • Once it is fully cooked (all liquid should be cooked into the mixture leaving everything moist but not runny), turn off the stove and add 1 cup of shredded cheese to the top and serve.

Notes

Family favorite. 
Serve with biscuits.
